The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Moldova has launched a competition to fill the position of Deputy Secretary General, a strategic role in coordinating energy sector reforms and the process of aligning with European Union requirements.

This position involves key responsibilities in coordinating the ministry’s subdivisions, monitoring the implementation of the National Accession Plan and other strategic programs, drafting and reviewing legislative proposals, and supporting the energy sector reform process.

The Deputy Secretary General will ensure coordination of planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting on the implementation of EU accession requirements, as well as the smooth operation of the ministry’s subdivisions.

The role also entails performing duties and responsibilities in accordance with the ministry’s organizational and operational regulations or as delegated by the Minister.
