The Secretary of State of the Ministry of Energy, Vitalie Mîța, participated in the Civil Society Forum – 2nd Edition, organized by the public association “SOLIDARII NEAMULUI,” an event dedicated to promoting energy efficiency solutions at the local level and strengthening dialogue between public authorities and civil society.

During the opening session, the Secretary of State spoke about the importance of involving local public authorities and partnering with civil society to implement energy efficiency measures within communities.

“Energy efficiency is one of the most important directions for strengthening energy security and reducing costs for citizens. Local public authorities play a crucial role in implementing concrete projects in communities, and collaboration with civil society helps identify suitable solutions and leverage existing funding opportunities,” said Vitalie Mîța.

The forum brought together representatives from non-governmental organizations, local public authorities at levels I and II, as well as experts in energy efficiency. The event agenda included presentations and thematic discussions on national policies and available support instruments, technological solutions for energy efficiency, and examples of best practices implemented at the local level.

The forum also presented the project “Local Partnerships for Energy Efficiency of the Social Service ‘Protected Housing’ in Glodeni,” along with other community initiatives promoting the efficient use of energy resources and the development of sustainable solutions for communities.

The event provided a platform for dialogue and experience sharing between authorities, civil society, and experts, contributing to the identification of concrete solutions to increase energy efficiency and support the energy transition at the local level.
