General Electric representatives invited to contribute to the development of innovative projects in Moldova

During his visit to the US, Energy Minister Victor Parlicov had a productive discussion with the General Manager for Government Affairs and Policy of General Electric (GE), George A. Pickart.
The parties discussed the possible opportunities for the development of innovative projects in the Republic of Moldova, given the fact that General Electric has in its portfolio a number of solutions and companies, which are engaged in innovation and development of new technologies.
In this context, Mr. Victor Parlicov, presented the concept of the draft Law on the innovative test spaces for energy regulation in the Republic of Moldova, known as Sandbox, developed with the support of UNDP Moldova.
The Minister of Energy also reiterated that the realization of the concept of Sandboxes would be impossible without the support of USAID Future Technologies of the Future (FTA) program and Western NIS Enterprise Fund.
Mr. Victor Parlicov invited General Electric representatives to support the development of innovative technologies in our country and to join this innovation project, which will bring considerable investment and new jobs to the Republic of Moldova.
