The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Moldova has a new State Secretary. Vitalie Mîța was appointed to this position at today’s meeting of the Government of the Republic of Moldova. He will coordinate the district heating, natural gas, and energy efficiency sectors.
Vitalie Mîța is an energy sector specialist with relevant academic background and advanced training in energy management and energy efficiency. He holds a master’s degree in engineering, specializing in Electrical Engineering, and has over 17 years of professional experience in the energy sector.
Throughout his career, Vitalie Mîța has held several positions within Termoelectrica, including Head of the Production Management Service and Development Director. In these roles, he was involved in major projects aimed at modernizing and developing the centralized district heating system.
Prior to his appointment as State Secretary, Vitalie Mîța worked as an expert, providing consultancy to the Ministry of Energy in the district heating field and contributing to the development of sectoral policies.
