The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Moldova invites media representatives to a press tour at the construction site of the Vulcănești-Chișinău 400kV Energy Independence Line (LEA), in the section where electrical cable installation works are being carried out.

DETAILS:

The Vulcănești-Chișinău LEA will be 157 kilometers long. More than 500 towers and 1,500 kilometers of conductors will create a strategic connection between the south and center, crossing eight districts and 35 localities. The works are being carried out under the Power System Development Project and are part of the priority measures of the Government of the Republic of Moldova aimed at ensuring the country’s energy security. The project is funded by the World Bank Group.

The project’s value is 61 million euros, of which approximately 27 million euros are allocated for the construction of the line.
