The Ministry of Energy invites media representatives to the Forum “Liberalization of the Natural Gas Market in the Republic of Moldova,” followed by a press conference.

The event will take place on February 19, 2026, at 10:30 AM, at the Radisson Blu Leogrand Hotel.

The following participants will attend the forum and the press conference:

• Alexei Taran, Director General of the National Agency for Energy Regulation;
• Dorin Junghietu, Minister of Energy;
• Artur Lorkowski, Director of the Energy Community Secretariat.

Discussions will focus on the stages of liberalizing the natural gas market, clarifying the legal framework and the responsibilities of the stakeholders involved, as well as the impact of these reforms on the Republic of Moldova’s EU accession process and its integration into the European energy market.
